World of Pets is a game developed by both the Norris Nuts and PlaySide Studios. We think we've got the best fans out there already and want to see that they enjoy themselves when playing with others. As such, we think following the community guidelines outlined below will absolutely make you stand-out as the LEGEND you are!
Bullying and Harassment
We believe that World of Pets should be a safe and friendly environment for everyone playing it and so we have a zero tolerance policy toward hate speech, bullying, harassment or threatening behaviour of any kind.
Cheating and Trolling
We take reports of cheating and exploitation very seriously.
Don’t take advantage of other players in the form of trades, attempting to gain access to someone else’s account information, buying/selling accounts or buying/selling pets and other items.
Report bugs and exploits as you see them! Don't take advantage of them, or you risk your account being banned. If you do find an exploit you can let us know here.
Inappropriate content
Do not participate or encourage any bullying, harassment, swearing, gambling, sexual content, dangerous or illegal activities, doxxing, swatting, threats of harm or violence, or any content that would not be suitable for children.
If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable with content that you are seeing in-game please report it to the Support Site so that we can take appropriate action.
Player reports
We believe that World of Pets should be a safe and friendly environment for all players, and if someone's making you feel unwelcome or creating a negative experience for you we take that very seriously.
If you see something that goes against the community guidelines you can contact our lovely support team here.
Safety and security
Personal Information
Do not post or threaten to post personal information like phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, first and last names, about yourself or others.
The World of Pets team will never ask you for your password! Keep your account information private. Do not share your account information or any other details that may personally identify you to others. Similarly please do not share any of this information of other players with anyone.
Scams
Trading is a core and integral part of the World of Pets experience. We want you to feel confident and secure with your trade by receiving items of fair value for what you are offering other players. As such, never accept a trade without seeing all items in the trade window and never trade anything that you’re not prepared to lose - all trades are final!
We understand it’s taken time for you to build up your rare items and pets, and we’d don’t want to see you lose them due to players not abiding by these community guidelines.
Verified Players
Some accounts in World of Pets will be verified as known good accounts. You can tell official accounts by a purple name for PlaySide staff, green for Verified Creators, and yellow for the Norris Nuts.
These accounts will NEVER ask you for your information or items. If you see a Verified Player engaging in actions that violate the Community Guidelines please contact the support team as this is not the behaviour we wish to see from someone who is in good standing within the community. Depending on our investigation this may result in the Verified Player losing their verified status within the game.
Consequences
Player discipline is up to the discretion of PlaySide and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Consequences can range from having items and currency removed to permanent bans.
We take into account several factors including severity of the offence, and repeat offenses. Due to privacy concerns, we cannot discuss what happens to specific users.
As a guideline, we have 3 levels of severity.
Ban Level 1 - 48 Hours
Ban Level 2 - 7-10 Days
Ban Level 3 - Perma-Ban
If you are found to have been cheating, scamming, or engaging in behaviour that is against the Community Guidelines you may lose all rights to your account. This includes access to any items, currency, and purchases you may have made with real world money.
